Objective: The first most important page in any screenplay is Page One. Our objective is to find the best expression of a Page One. Here's your chance to show off your writing talent.

Rules and Regulations: Submit one page only in standard screenplay format. The first line must say "FADE IN." We are looking for a fun time on one page: a killer opening, an incredible image, the outrageous character, the visual metaphor that defines the movie or the journey the character is about to take.

Eligibility: Anyone can enter any time. The deadline of December 31st of each year.

Entry Fee: $20.00. No limit on number of entries. Co-authorship is acceptable.

Awards: The winner gets his/her entry reprinted on this website for all to see.
